Lisa Ventura MBE FCIIS has officially opened submissions for two new volumes in her acclaimed cyber security book series: The Varied Origins of the Cyber Men: Volume 2 and The Rise of the Cyber Women: Volume 4. These latest instalments will be released on key symbolic dates, International Men’s Day, Wednesday 19 November 2025, and International Women’s Day, Sunday 8 March 2026, respectively.
Curated by Lisa and published by Security Blend Books, these volumes continue Lisa’s mission to celebrate authentic and diverse voices in the cyber security industry. Volume II of “The Varied Origins of the Cyber Men” will highlight the often-overlooked stories of men from non-traditional backgrounds who have entered cyber security, while Volume 4 of “The Rise of the Cyber Women” will continue to amplify the voices of women and those who identify as women, showcasing their experiences, challenges, and contributions to the field.
Prospective contributors are encouraged to share bold, real, and inspiring stories about their journey into cyber security. Chapters should be 3,500–5,000 words in length and submissions must also include the author’s name, job title, company, location, and a photo. Full submission guidelines can be downloaded here..
